Supporting Israeli Farmers in Times of Crisis

Save a Farm, a project of Keren Hashviis, is the *only organization providing on-the-ground support to Israeli farmers. We personally visit each farmer at their home or farm to assess their needs, evaluate their level of crisis, and distribute emergency funds where they’re needed most.

A Project of Keren Hashviis

Since the 1980’s, Keren Hashviis, through funds raised in the diaspora, has been financially supporting Israeli farmers who sacrifice everything to keep the Mitzvah of Shmitah. Although not a Shmitah year, we remain in contact with our farmers. Following the devastation left by Hamas on October 7th, 2023, we realized our farmer's desperate need and quickly began Save a Farm. Your donation, no matter the size, plays a critical role in keeping these farms in business through every trial they encounter.

Our Impact

As of September 2024, Save a Farm has distributed over $890,000 since the start of the war. Funds have been given to 142 farmers in desperate need.
